Breach Damage
Secondary damage dealt by your attacks that can stun the enemyThe game's own definition (keyword glossary) Dataminedlocalization → Keyword.Breach.DamageBreach Damage vs Damage to Breached
The game uses "Breach" for two different things, and they're easy to mix up. The Detailed Stats screen keeps them apart: Breach Damage sits with the combat stats, and Damage to Breached sits under Ailments.
Builds up the enemy's Breach Bar. When the bar fills, the enemy is Breached: stunned and open to a Takedown.
As you damage an enemy, you also deal Breach damage to the enemy, displayed in the Breach Bar located beneath their Health Bar. After dealing enough Breach damage to fill the Breach Bar, they become stunned and vulnerable to a Takedown.Codex, “Breach” Datamined
Raised by the traits the Armory lists under “Breach Damage” (13).
Extra damage against an enemy that is already Breached.
The Armory lists these traits under “Damage to Breached Enemies” (3), and the Detailed Stats line reads “Damage to Breached”.
A third line, Breach Duration, has its own Armory filter (“Breach Duration”, 2 traits). For example: +11–13% Breach duration
“it has breach damage and damage dealt to breached enemies, which frequently confuses newer players”Wyatt Corroborateddata/observations/wyatt_2026-09-27.json
The two short explanations above are this wiki's summary of the game text quoted with them: the Codex, the Detailed Stats screen and the Armory's trait filterslocalization → statScreen; itemFilters. How much each one changes damage is not in the files UNKNOWN.

StatScreen.Breach.DamageBreach by weapon type
Each weapon type has its own Breach power in the files:
| Weapon type | Breach power |
|---|---|
WarhammerWeapon.Hammer.2H.Player | 12Weapon.Hammer.2H.Player.BreachPower |
GreatswordWeapon.Sword.2H.Player | 12Weapon.Sword.2H.Player.BreachPower |
LongswordWeapon.Sword.1H.Player | 10 (the default)Weapon.BreachPower |
PolearmWeapon.Polearm.2H.Player | 7Weapon.Polearm.2H.Player.BreachPower |
Dual BladesWeapon.DualBlades.1H.Player | 4Weapon.DualBlades.1H.Player.BreachPower |
From the weapons' stat tables DataminedCT_Attributes_Weapon_Player; CT_Attributes_Weapon_Defaults. The Longsword has no value of its own, so the default is shown; that a missing value falls back to the default is the usual reading, not something the files state UNKNOWN. How Breach power turns into Breach Damage per hit is not in the files UNKNOWN.
