Quests

What the game calls a Quest the files call a merit. 329 of them are named and sorted into 6 categories; another 91 are the randomised ones that fill your Quest slots. The reward is not fixed: each slot draws from a weighted pool, and the weights are below.

The Quest slots

7 slots in the files, chained by progression flags — each one grants the flag the next one requires. The last 3 are the endgame slots and unlock together. Rerolling is priced per slot and gets steeply dearer, and rerolling also multiplies what the reward itself costs by the figure in the last column.

What a Quest can reward, and how often

One table per rarity band a slot draws from. The weight is the file's own; the share is that weight over the band's total, so these are the real odds of each option coming up once the band is picked Datamined. “Upgrades to” is the row the file points at for more of the same and for the next rarity up — the two links the reward interface offers.

Mirrors of Duplication

Quests pay the Mirrors, and Mirrors are spent to set which item a completed Quest hands you Corroborated. The game's own files call them Orbs of Cloning; the name here is the one the game prints Currency.Quest.1, Currency.Quest.2, Currency.Quest.3.

“The Mirror or Duplication, Primal Mirror of Duplication, Cursed Mirror of Duplication all come from Quest rewards of different varieties and are spent on setting various kinds of items to be the active quest reward. I've attached a screenshot of the quest interface. I've attached a screenshot (screenshot 5) of the rewards interface for the items form quests after filling up the bar at the top of the interface. How many a Quest pays

Nine reward rows, three per band. Within a band the plain Mirror comes up three times as often as either special one, and pays twice as many.

What it costs to set a reward

No table in the files prices this. The figures below are Wyatt's, read off the reward screen Corroborated. Three prices is not a formula, and the page does not turn them into one.

“It would seem to me that the cost of duplicating a particular variant of item as the reward costs an amount that scales with rarity of the item and the origin. Items that start as cursed, will always cost cursed mirrors to duplicate as the reward from completing quests (1,000 mirrors for legendary cursed weapon, 500 mirrors for a cursed epic augment, 200 mirrors for a cursed rare augment).” — WyattW-2026-10-06-12

Three measured prices, and Wyatt's reading of the pattern. The three numbers are observations; that the price SCALES with rarity and origin is his inference from them -- he says 'it would seem to me' -- and is a hypothesis until the table behind it is found or more prices are logged.

Items with two or more primary traits cost far more to set as a Quest reward. The threshold and the actual numbers are UNKNOWN.

What the files do not say

• Nothing in the slot, Quest or reward tables says WHICH Quest appears when, or which Mirror a given Quest pays. That is UNKNOWN.meritParent, merits, lootQuantityRandomized
• No table in the game’s data file prices setting an item as a Quest reward. The three prices on this page are Wyatt’s, from the screen.source_data.json
• 6 of the 9 bands the slots draw from have no reward row of their own at all: FTUE1, FTUE2, FTUE3, Legendary high tier, Legendary mid tier, Pre50 epic. A Quest drawing on one of those falls back to the slot’s own reward group, which for every slot is Legendary gear.lootQuantityRandomized; FTUE1, FTUE2, FTUE3, LegendaryHighTier, LegendaryMidTier, Pre50Epic

The Quests themselves

Each named Quest has up to three stages: how much of it you have to do, the Ascension XP that stage pays, and what it hands over. 91 further Quests are in the Random category and carry no stages of their own — those are the ones that fill the slots above.
