Coin of Valor
Resource
Coins of Valor were originally rewards for valiant service to the Archons. After they were overthrown, the Highlords continued to award these to warriors who distinguished themselves in battle. It wasn't until the Monolith was built, that Coins of Valor suddenly took on a practical purpose. Brave Valorians could use these items to test their abilities in the infamous Tower of Trials.

Where it comes from
The game never says. Its description is lore only, with no line telling you where to look, and the drop tables name a context rather than a place — so this reads UNKNOWN rather than a guess.
What it is spent on
| Where | Priced in | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Tower of Trials | Corroborated | 5 |
| Ascended Tower of Trials | Corroborated | 20 |
| Exalted Tower of Trials | Corroborated | 40 |
What the drop tables grant
| Context | Rows | Amount each |
|---|---|---|
| A boosted character’s starting items | 1 | 150 |
| Dreamstone rewards | 10 | 1–40 |
| Not named by the file | 1 | 3–5 |
These are the amounts a single grant is worth. Where each context fires — which activity, which enemy, how often — is UNKNOWN: the files name the context, not the place, and the drop trace has not been run for resources.
